The whole history
Work, sleep, food, movement, stress, family history, and the questions you were not sure were worth asking.
Ninety minutes with a doctor who has spent thirty years learning to listen.
A single, unhurried consultation that brings together medical assessment, lifestyle, movement, and breath. You leave with a clear picture of where your health stands today, and of what will make the most difference next.
Most consultations are built around a single problem. This one is built around a whole person, which requires a closer look.
Work, sleep, food, movement, stress, family history, and the questions you were not sure were worth asking.
Clinical examination, and the investigations that your history and your risks actually call for, decided with the doctor sitting in front of you.
What the findings mean, in plain language, while you are still there to ask about them.
Two or three specific changes with the largest expected effect for you, written down, with a timeframe and a review.
For people who don't simply want to live longer, but want to live well, with vitality, clarity, resilience, and purpose.
Thirty years in general practice. Diagnostics, metabolic and biomarker assessment, and the pattern recognition that only comes from having seen how illness actually arrives: slowly, and long before it becomes a diagnosis.
Sivananda-trained in Hatha and Kundalini yoga, with long training in breathwork and meditation. The physiology of the breath, the vagus nerve, and a nervous system that is either recovering or is not.
The two are usually practised apart. Here, they meet in the same room, in the same hour and a half.
Longevity is often presented as a project: a programme to follow, a protocol to complete, a number to move. Dr Vimple begins with the person in front of her, and with how they actually live, and lets the medicine follow from that.
Health, in her view, is a matter of being in harmony with the way you live. Your work, your rest, your food, your breath, and the world around you.
You do not need to remake your life. You need to understand it, and then adjust it where adjustment will count.
The investigations that your history and your risks actually call for, decided in the room rather than drawn from a standard panel.
What the results mean, in language that makes sense, while you are still there to ask.
Followed up properly, and adjusted where adjustment is needed.
Breath, vagal tone, and the principles of yoga are treated here as physiology rather than as wellness: measurable, teachable, and held to the same standard of evidence as everything else Dr Vimple does.
Explore the science →This service starts where that advice stops. It begins by measuring what is actually happening (bloods, metabolic markers, sleep, current intake and activity), identifies the one or two changes with the biggest return for you specifically, and builds them into your week in a form you can sustain.
A long conversation about how you actually live — work pattern, sleep, food, alcohol, movement, stress — followed by examination and relevant testing. You leave with two or three specific changes, not a lecture and not a list of thirty.
It depends entirely on the change and the person. Sleep and energy often shift within a few weeks; weight, blood pressure, and metabolic markers take longer. Dr Vimple will set honest expectations at the outset rather than promising a timeline she cannot control.
Almost never entirely. Sustainable change is the goal, and plans that require you to dislike your own life do not last. Reduction, timing, and substitution usually achieve more than prohibition.
No. Never stop or change prescribed medication without medical advice. Lifestyle change works alongside treatment — and where it does eventually allow a medication to be reduced, that decision is made by your doctor, with monitoring.
Weight management is assessed individually. Any prescription medicine is considered only after a full medical assessment, only where clinically appropriate, and always alongside nutritional and behavioural support rather than instead of it.
You leave with a written plan and a review arranged. Progress is reviewed honestly, and where something is not working it gets changed rather than repeated.
